The Programmes (MAJMC) offered by the Department of Journalism & Mass Communication equip the students with skills required for a career in various modes of Mass Communication such as Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising. Mass media constitute a large public space where they generate debates, influence opinion and create markets. The rise of the New Media has created a wide range of new possibilities and profiles such as Disc Jockeys, Radio Jockeys and TV Anchors etc.
